We’re all soo close to winter break.  I don’t know about you guys, but I am definatly looking forward to the forty-some days off.  But is it just me, or does it seem like as much as we’d like to look forward to break, we first have to realize that we have what seems to be an impossible amount of work.  I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 papers due, and I still have a few more tests this week.  Once these next few weeks are over, I will truely be relieved beyond words and ready to start the next semester. -Connor Clark

How was everybody’s break?  Mine was amazing, I just caught up with people who I hadn’t seen in a while.  I mostly hungout with my best friends and girlfriend the whole time haha, but it was really nice to be home for more than a day or two for the first time in a long time.  Now I just can’t wait for the 14th to be home for a month and a half!   -Connor Clark

Hey, I was just wondering when that CSI essay was due? I read it on the syllabus the other week and I was confused, as I don’t remember hearing anybody talk about a reflection paper on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys, I finally had my timeslot today after waiting for what seemed like forever! I guess I would say that it was an overall success. My goals, which I’m sure much of you can agree with, were to find classes where I was able to sleep in a little (after having an 8 or 8:30 class every day this semester), as well as filling alot of my GE’s, and even take a few English courses to get into our required classes for our major. Check out schedule and see if you’re taking any classes with me! Feel free to comment and leave yours too to compare.

My schedule is as follows:

Psychology 101 MWF 10:20-11:10 with Odle
Psychology Lab Wednesday 3-3:50
HLH101-Personal and Community Health MWF 12:40-1:30 with Williams
GRY120-Cultural Geography Mon. 7-9:30 with Quinn
ENG252-Intro to Modern American Lit. T/Th 10:05-11:20 with Richards
CAP100-Intro to Computer Applications T/Th 11:40-12:55 with Connell
Computer Applications Lab Friday 3-3:50
ENG326-American Lit. Since 1900 T/Th 2:50-4:05 with Lessig

Hey guys I’ve been really stressing over the issue of creating the perfect schedule for next semester. I have spent hours reviewing my choices, trying to put the pieces together, not too much writing intensive classes at once, and trying to take some GE’s along the way as well to get them out of the way. This semester has been a problem reguarding my overall GPA because I’m taking a few classes I really shouldn’t have.
When I thought I put together the perfect schedule, I hit a few bumps, alot of the classes were already filled!!! I say it’s really frustrating having a late time slot just because I’m a freshman, I almost believe that it should be first-come, first-serve, such as having the time slots open for everyone on a certain day at 6 a.m.. Now tomorrow is my timeslot and I amd really hoping to get most of my classes all set up.
